Bananas Foster

...or the most exciting culinary night of my life.

Since I leave in two days for Israel (!!!) and I have more than  little schoolwork to complete before then, I'm just going to direct you here for the recipe.  It's halved from the original, which is what I did tonight.  One note: I used about half a cup of rum and about a quarter cup of brandy.  The rum was old, and so I really needed the extra (and the brandy) to get a good flame.













Serve over a healthy scoop of vanilla ice cream :)
